Living an ART filled life…“Creativity is a God-given ability to take something ordinary and make it into something special. It is an openness to doing old things new ways…The creative spirit is part of our heritage as children of the One who created all things. And nurturing our creativity is part of our responsibility as stewards of God’s good gifts.” – Emilie Barnes, The Spirit of Loveline
Thank you! Would love to know more about the art cards you sent your cousins:) My granddaughter is CRAZY for the alphabet…I’m hoping my daughter will capture her excitement with a photo:) Thank you for taking the time to comment! Bless you:)
You’re welcome! My cousins are ages 7 – 12 and all girls. The art cards are recycled subscription cards – both sides covered in gesso, painted art (mixed media) on one side, note written on the back. They usually reflect whatever I’m working on in my art journal or a canvas…..I’ve written about a few of them http://studiobukowski.wordpress.com/category/art-cards/ Tell me what you think
What a fun project! I love it. I send art cards to my tween aged cousins, but I love this idea for younger kids (like my nephews)
