Doodle 101 / Daughter of the King

Good Morning! It’s been too long since I’ve created a Doodle 101!

I am so sorry for those of you who have been following and waiting!

What’s kept me busy?  Selling our home, building a new one, living for 5 weeks out of a suitcase…

We are now finally getting settled and feeling so very thankful!

I do love our new place.  It’s what they call (in Cincinnati) a “Courtyard” home.

It is a single dwelling home that has a courtyard in between our place and the house next door.

After caring for a huge yard and pool, my husband can now relax and enjoy a golf course close by…I’ve not seen him more excited than the day he bought his new golf cart:)

I admit that I tend to be a “home body.”  A good day for me is being home all day…worshipping, cooking, nesting, and painting.  I am often reminded that although I do enjoy many good gifts the Lord has provided, this is not our home.

One day we will live in the place our Lord has prepared for us.

We are daughter’s of the King:)

“In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?” – John 14:2

From the time we are little girls, our dream is often of being a princess…

but the thing is…we already are.

In Christ, it is our heritage.

Our God is a GOOD Father.
