Often, my idea of perfect peace is calm waters…free of waves…easy. God’s perfect peace is better. In HIS perfect peace we find confidence to trust Him more. It is a place where our mind is on HIM and not our fleeting agenda. It is place where we find not only rest, but strength as we come to experience His love and faithfulness.
Without dark, we cannot understand light. Without unrest, we cannot know peace.
” You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.
Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” -Isaiah 26:3,4
