      Thanks for taking the time to connect with me Beth! I’ll bet if you look back at where you began, you’ll be encouraged! Don’t loose heart, I’ve been “practicing” for almost 40 years:)

    Love your doodles. I can’t seem to get the right pen that will give me bold lines and thin ones. I use a thin pen and add the thickness- it looks messy to me and also some line are thicker than others.

      Ci, You’re on the right track! My most use pens are Pigma Microns. I letter with a pencil first, then go over the lines I want to keep with a Micron 01 or 02…then, add detail with a finer tip (005). I “thicken some of the letters by doubling the lines in specific areas, like the curves or the downstrokes.
