Doodle 101 Video / Give it all away

Why does it take us so long to realize that the things we think we need, are “here today and gone tomorrow.” That we find little satisfaction or true joy when we hold onto anything (good or bad)

…other that our God.

I first learned how to give…how to be a servant… from my Mother.

She spent a lifetime giving, though she did not have that modeled for her.

She instilled in me, the value of a person.

“Love is ascribing worth to another at cost to oneself” – Greg Boyd

& God continues to refine that truth in me.

Jesus gave us everything He had…

He would rather die than be without us.

Father, grow my heart each day…that I would desire to give everything I have…because it is really yours.

AGAIN…Thank you does not do justice to the gratitude I have for those of you who are praying, and have written such kind words of encouragement.

God bless you.

    Sue,

Your Mom is looking down at you from Heaven and is so proud of the lessons you’ve learned and are sharing with us all! I LOVE the photo you posted of her, she was gorgeous inside and out. I continue to pray for you, as I walk this time with you myself. I miss my Mom every single day, but I know I will see her again, and I thank God for blessing me with 48 years her. BTW, I adore C.S. Lewis and love the quote you used from him as well.

    Love and prayers,
    Maureen
