Are you DIGGING DEEPER?

Digging Deeper, means that we take time to ask the Lord to uncover what is buried…to shine light on what has been left in the dark.  It is a willingness to humble yourself before the Creator of all things, falling under His authority with full confession of sin and the need for A Savior.

We come into His presence BELIEVING that He is GOOD and EXPECTING that He WILL do what He promises.

It is an intentional commitment to practicing God’s presence…giving Him “the time of day”

I know I’ve said it before, but worship music is always a part of this process for me.  It clears my mind of distractions and “woos” me toward the Lord.

I don’t know about you, but music and lyrics stay with me as much as visuals, in regards to remembering truth.

Laura Story wrote a song called “There is Nothing”

The truth that calls to me daily is the line in the song that says…

“REMIND ME, THAT I COME BEFORE THE KING”

May we all remember that we come before A KING!

A KING that desires to sit beside us with whispers of love…

WE HAVE A KING WHO LONGS TO BE GRACIOUS TO US!

A KING…who longs to be Gracious to us? Let that sink in!

Isaiah 30: 18-21

18 Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him! 19 People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. 20 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. 21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

As you spend time “DIGGING DEEPER” with your King, may you be reminded that He…

– will rise up to show you compassion

– promises to BLESS all those who wait for Him (ABIDE)

– will not hide from you or withhold from you

– will speak to you, whether you turn right or left, and you WILL hear Him 

– He will show you the way to go, by going before you

Our KING is a KING who is FOR His people:)

Come into His presence BELIEVING that He is GOOD and EXPECTING that He WILL do what He promises.

God blesses you in your obedience,
