Printable Calendar Ideas by Eden!

A very talented blog writer and 1Arthouse follower has come up with some awesome & creative ideas for using the free printable calendars I created.

Eden, has agreed to let me share some of her photos and ideas.

I just LOVE them!

What I celebrate most of all, is her faith conversations, encouragement, and study with her daughter! ❤️

Together, they came up with the idea to create a #hashtag for each day of study.  A simple visual that would fit in the space of each block and would serve as a reminder of the place the Lord has met them, and the truth the Holy Spirit deposited in their hearts.

Isn’t this just GREAT?!!!

Hello beloved Sisters from all over the world!  What a miracle we are afforded with the opportunity to connect with so many Christian women far & wide! I count it as such an honor that you take the time to meet me here:)

So much so, that I look for ways to bless you. To pay it forward…to share the gracious love & provision of our Father.

I have been reworking a little piece I did on paper over a year ago, in order for you to have a “clean” page to color.

So, here it is. The new version in PDF form.

Hope it blesses you today!

The Virtue of Contentment / WK 5 / headed towards the prize

As we are coming to the end of our study together,

I am prayerful that the Lord has kept you close. That He has increased the desire of your heart to seek Him…moment by moment, day by day.

Practicing His presence….pausing to be still, receive, and move forward.

As we are one with Christ (John 17) as He is one with the Father & we can stand confident in our inheritance… & the promise of our righteousness and fullness in Christ. (Ephesians 1) With our eyes on this “prize,” (Phil 3:14) we can rest in our weakness, as God makes them His strength. (2 Cor 12:9)

To do this, we must learn to abide….to wait on, rest in, accept, heed, follow, respect obey…. in Christ.

and in the practice of His presence, we will know WHO God is and WHOSE we are…through the revelation of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 2)

and HE will be our portion.

The only portion we need.

As I mourn the loss of loved ones…I look to the Lord for my portion of

strength, endurance, comfort, healing, hope, wisdom, and love.

Doodle 101

Just a little doodle for today.  I did this one last week.  I am in bed with a very bad cough, sore throat and headache.  I won’t be able to post day 5 of week 5 from our study on The Virtue of Contentment until I’m feeling better.  Love to you all!

The Virtue of Contentment / WK 5 / Day 4

My summary for Week 3  in The Virtue of Contentment comes down to this…

The Virtue of Contentment / WK 5 / Doodle 101/ Summary/ Sue Carroll

I posted the song above in WEEK 3.  (Selah’s version) I find great peace just listening to these lyrics!

We can be FREE from worry when we trust that the Lord provides ALL we need.  (Not all we “want” but all we NEED)

image

KNOWING that the Lord provides, comes from EXPERIENCING His provision.  We can easily miss His loving hand in our life when we are placing our hope in everything BUT Him.

We can get through a whole day, without giving our Father a thought…even when we know that everything we are and everything we have is HIS.

We will only recognize His provision in our PURSUIT of God Himself.

Pursing godliness is not the same thing.

It’s not the same as sitting on our Daddy’s lap.

As we SEEK the LORD DAILY, our understanding of His Character, His Sovereignty,  His Faithfulness, His Power, His Forgiveness, His Mercy, and His love becomes PERSONAL.

When we open the door, our God is there with a gift.

He’s waiting for us to let Him in, and He ALWAYS has good things for us!

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” -Matthew 7:11

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”  -James 1:17

As we experience His provision, our expectation will grow…

When they (all our expectations) are placed on the Lord, they will be fulfilled.

There is FREEDOM in this.

Freedom from anxiety, from pursuing perfection, from “wrong thinking” or “unrighteousness emotion,” from bitterness & resentment, from pride… & freedom from hopelessness.

As the Lord FREES you from these chains, you will find a NEW SONG in your HEART.  You will long to SING His praise…

for He is a good and loving Father…and you know this because you have spent time with Him.  You know His voice.  You have first hand experience with His character.

“Oh sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth!”  Psalm 96:1

Seek God First…and Jesus takes care of the rest.
