It’s always a good day for a good day:)
As “we” finish the book of Genesis, we’re reminded of Jesus “family tree” as Joseph’s life comes to it’s earthly end.
Jesus complete lineage is a bit confusing …though we do know two things to be ultimately true…
Jesus is the Son of Abraham and the Son of David.
“The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.” -Matthew 1:1
”and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.” to Abraham -Genesis 22:18
“Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.” Isaiah 9:7
