Working on a second, more “masculine” design for Balance:)
Thanks for stopping by!!
Our church is on a journey together to find Balance…mind, body and soul…as we study The Daniel Plan.
Taking our lead from Daniel, we are striving to lean into God as we practice obedience
-by taking care of our bodies (they are His temple) as well as renewing our minds
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”Romans 12:2 (NLT)
and actively operating in the Spirit which breathes life in us, rewarding us with love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self control:)
Maintaining balance is a daily struggle, but one that God provides the means for…the hope for…the VICTORY over…
if we allow Him to:)
Praying you find Balance in your own life,
Sue
I haven’t pulled out my watercolors for some time, and I quite forgot how much they are my favorite medium.
My first little project is related to my son’s school show. He started performing in Musical theater at the age of 8, and since then, I have hoped that one day he would have the opportunity to play the role of Seymour in “Little Shop of Horrors” a dark musical comedy. There is so much of Seymour in my son:)
So, now…in his Senior year…he has been cast…Seymour Krelborn.
Not only do they look alike, but…well…Matthew has always been a Krelborn:)
Back to watercolor…
I pulled them out and came up with this:)
The story is about a sweet florist shop worker who gets persuaded by an evil alien plant, to succumb to greed and desire….light hearted musical theater right?
I don’t often have time to sit for hours and paint…I love it when I do!
Happy Saturday:)
